Dried cassava residue is mixed with water and binders to form a cohesive paste; the mixture is then extruded through a twin-screw granulator to form porous, biodegradable granules. The granules are dried in a rotary dryer to achieve low moisture content (<8%) and enhance hardness, followed by cooling and sieving to remove dust and ensure uniform particle sizes (3-5 mm). Finished products are packed in sealed, breathable bags to maintain freshness.
